To establish the highest standard of competencies and practice by empowering all professionals who provide behavioural intervention services, special educational needs services and all other allied services to individuals with developmental disorders, learning difficulties, intellectual disabilities, and other special needs and related disorders; through education, raising awareness, access, transparency, and dedication to best practice.

• To carry out periodic training in special needs analysis, behavioural science, and care competencies.
• To provide evidence of training and attestation including certificates and testimonials for trainees.
• To mobilise seasoned professionals in the fields of behavioural sciences, education, and care to form a critical team for planning and implementation of training and intervention programs.
• To create and publish modules, manuals and other publications that would contribute to an increase in competent and ethical services within the special needs sector.
• To build and increase capacity of paraprofessionals and professionals to provide competent evidence-based intervention services for persons with learning, behavioural and neuro-developmental challenges.
• To support and/or implement the research-based activities on evidence-based interventions for persons with different needs and abilities.
• To liaise with institutions within the private and public sector (including government) and provide sensitisation and capacity building services to stakeholders within the education, health, and development sectors.
• To certify professionals and paraprofessionals providing special needs intervention services within Nigeria.
• To establish practice suggested standards, administer examinations, and supply suggested ethics standards in the business.
• To maintain a registry of qualified and certified paraprofessionals and professionals providing special needs services within Nigeria.
